Residential Design

At Niedbala Design, we believe your home should reflect your unique style. Our portfolio, highlighting our residential design services, illustrate how we work closely with you to select the paint, materials, and furnishings that make your house a home. We also use CAD and 3D rendering tools to provide you an exact vision of what your home will look like before you make a final decision.

Office Design

We work with you to ensure that our designs uniquely fit your working environment, your business vision and business drivers. Many of our clients require flexible design solutions and desking systems to accommodate different staffing levels and work patterns. Our designs invigorate spaces and working environments, facilitate staff communication, and provide opportunities for new ways of working.

Commercial Design

We have a passion for all aspects of commercial design. We offer the same level of expertise to every client, from small-scale dining establishments to marquee commercial builders. Build & Install

The first phase of our process is a simple meet and greet whereby we introduce ourselves and get an idea for your overall project goals. This includes timelines, project scope, and budget size, as well as gaining an understanding of your tastes and preferences. Each of our clients has unique needs and in this initial meeting our goal is to understand what is most important to you. Some of our clients need us to only play a minor role in an existing project that consists of many players (including home DIY'ers) while others need us to manage every aspect of the project from inception to design-build-completion.

The Idea & Concept phase is where we start to storyboard a number of looks, styles and designs that give you a range of items to choose from, helping us narrow down the exact style you are hoping to achieve. This includes photos of existing interior designs, texture swatches, color palettes, lighting options and furniture design styles. We also take photos of your existing space and furniture (for any items you wish to integrate into your new design) so that we can show you exactly how your old space will transform into your new.

Once you have given us feedback from the Idea & Concept phase, we begin the actual design process whereby we mockup a series of detailed storyboards which show various design choices of your space, all driven by the color/texture/lighting/furniture feedback we gathered from the previous step. Unlike some other design firms, you are not limited to the number of designs or revisions. We want your feedback every step of the way and if it takes 10 times to get it right... we'll do it 10 times. Once you are happy with the design on the storyboard level, we will build out the design in our 3D CAD software programs so that you can get an actual rendering of the space complete with lighting and shadows.

We work with both clients who need us to oversee the Build & Install phase, as well as clients who either do the Build & Install themselves (DIY) or work with their own contractors. We work with a number of licensed contractors who specialize in interior design projects and whom we have had a successful working relationship with in the past. Likewise, we can also recommend contractors for a specific phase of your Build & Install if you wish to do 80% yourself and have a specialist come in to handle certain aspects like drywall, painting, plumbing, or electricity. Finally, we warranty all of our work and will guarantee any defects or imperfections for a full 12 months.
